Submission Guidelines
To submit to Rust And Moth, please use the contact form on the right or simply email us at submissions@rustandmoth.com. Before you submit, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with our previously published issues.
Poetry
Submit up to six poems in any style. Longer poems are acceptable, but shorter poems have better odds of getting published due to formatting. Please send all poems in a group, either in the body of an email or as an attachment (.pdf, .doc, .docx).
Photography
Rust+Moth Photo is our upcoming special dedicated entirely to the medium. Submit a portfolio of work (up to 15 photos), either color or black and white, at a minimum of 300 dpi, preferably in .tif or high quality .jpeg format. If multiple photos are too large a file for a single email, it is requested that you send multiple emails. You can also submit photos via our Flickr Group, or feel free to send us a link to a website to view your work. Cohesive sets are encouraged.
Publication Rights
Rust and Moth will publish no previously published works, unless we ourselves request them. Individual rights revert to authors upon publication. Rust and Moth will consider simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. By submitting your work, you affirm you are the sole author and maintain all rights for your work. We humbly request that any poem republished from Rust and Moth be properly cited.
